Baru blk dr menjengah blog kak dilla n nurul, setelah lama tak buat cenggitu. Hmmm... rasa teremosi plak.. sbb diorg sumer pun tgh blues... rindu umah... Huhu... dahla tini layan lagu pop 80-an. Ala-ala mendayu2 gitu kan... Terasa sedeynya... (aku pun sedey gak.. walaupun aku kt dlm mesia je) :( sabo la ek, kak dilla n alqas... tak lama lagi boleh balik... boleh kumpul ramai2.. gelak2 sakan macam dolu dolu...
P/S: Teringat zaman kita curik2 masak utk sahur masa kita final yr... sardin, telur goreng... :D

Test Sijil Utara 2005
Sakit badan ler... Yesterday pergi jadik tenaga penguji utk ujian sijil rendah silat cekak kat USM induk... Seronok!!! tapi, sakit ler kan. Mmg takleh elak aa.. Aduh... budak2 ni kalau menumbuk tester mmg tak kasik chance langsung.. belasah sungguh2, especially bab pemakan.. Kalau kat dlm kelas tu, time practice ngan member tau plak control.. Adeihh.. tak kesian ke ngan tester ni deknon2 sekalian.. kitorg takde ilmu kebal tau... Huhuu... petang ni kena gi urut la, betulkan apa2 yang patut... Heheh..

Pepun, tahniah buat adik2 yang telah berjaya mengharungi ujian tersebut. Bukan semua orang ada keberanian utk duduki ujian tu macam adik2 semua. Tahniah!! :D

Hehe.. konon2 nak mohon jadik cekgu gstt.. sementara tunggu hujung bln 4 nih... carik duit sampingan, buat belanja kawen.

Ckp pasal mende kawen ni, nak kena siap dr skang, so that tak serabut bila dah ujung2 sok.. Masalahnye, tak tau la nak start kat mana.. Carik cth checklist kat website, byk for omputih weddings je. Mana sama... Huhu.. cane nih.. Nak buat apa skang ni?? Huhuu... kena plan utk dua2 terus.. tunang n wedding.. Aiyarkkkk!!!

Next week aunty ajak mama g dinner nak bincang2 pasal mende nih. Hmm...... kena buat b4 Dan g melbourne la.. kot tak kang, bila plak lagi.. coz afte melbourne, hujung march, maybe dia nak kena g US dah, utk training MD11 aircraft. Most probably, he won't be around for the engagement pun. :( Sedey sket2.. takpela.. engagement je.. Jangan dia buat kena g memana masa nikah sudah. Aku saman transmile. Muahahaaa.... Cause : violation of human rights (the right to get laid, according to Dan.. hahaha).

Here Comes The Bride.....
Feeling a lot better than the past weeks. Restored kinda thing. Lots of reasons. I'm not as depressed as before about this whole wedding thing. Now, i'm feeling very joyful. I know the stressful moments will come again as the big day approaches, but I'm living my live as it comes. Tomorrow is always a new day, with new challenges. I'll just live today to the fullest and enjoy myself while it's still today. :) In sum, i'm pretty happy la.. my mom is showing more enthusiasm about me getting married, not like the last time.. now she's also giving me her input on what color to wear, the type of fabric and what not. :D Aunty called and said that she can't wait to have me as her menantu, his bro n sis-in-law are excited abt us getting married, my friends are excited, and that really makes me very happy. I'm happy that everyone i care about are happy for me. That matters.

This year will be full of weddings. My family aje, 5 ppl: adik beradik kembar, anak2 nenek su are getting married.. one march one april kot, then kak long in apr or may, then it'll be awin's engagement, followed by mine, then zura's wedding... then its gonna my big day. :D Please pray for me that everything goes well... Sesiapa yang dah ada pengalaman, tolong la bagik tips, khidmat nasihat abt anything tht have to do with wedding, tak kirala apa2 pun... persiapan, tmpt beli barang, hantaran, baju, apa2 lah. Thanks in advance. :)

Hmm... discussed with Dan abt the dates for the engagement and wedding... The next step is to ask mom abt it. :) After the dates are confirmed, i think we can start looking for bridal shops and caterers and make arrangements with them.

Splendid Weekend
A weekend spent alone with hunny bunny really restored me. :) It was really fun... i'd almost forgotten what it feels like to be away from home and just enjoying each other's company. :)

He arrived on Saturday noon, went to pick him up from the hotel and drove around, looking for a nice place for lunch. Hmm.. dah kehabisan idea la nak dine kat penang kat mana.. so, if anyone has an interesting dining place to share, please do tag me where ok? We headed to gurney plaza, but the traffic was so bad coz police blocked one lane of the roundabout.. (r/abt yg b4 gurney drive tu)... so we got detoured towards tg bungah instead. Terpksa la u-turn. Dah u-turn, ada motorcyclist going towards gurney plaza attempted to throw sth at us (dia marah konon we didnt let him go b4 us, padahal dia yg buat kurang ajar) so we avoided that road and masuk blk jln bagan jermal. Hmm.. started to drive around... sampai la the area near midlands one stop, there were this line of restaurants, so we stopped and had lunch at Secret Recipe. It was already 1600 then. Lapaq gila!

After lunch, drove around again, this time heading to Ferringhi... saja nak lepak2 at the beach. Around 1900, reached the beach and lepak sampai maghrib... Hehhe... It would be nicer if we came earlier and brought tikar n food and stuffs... picnic. Mesti bestt... Instead kitorg lepak2 atas batu je.. hehe.. And it would be better if takde bau2 yg tak menyenangkan. :p

After that, we drove to Persiaran Gurney to have dinner at the Roadhouse Grill.. Tak pernah sampai this place, even in KL, so i felt uneasy sbb lantai dia aren't as clear as other restaurants... bukannya tak clear sbb apa.. there were peanut shells under the tables. I took that as dirty. Hehe.. padahal.. mmg style tmpt tu mcm tu.. ala2 cowboyish saloon la. I had chicken parmigiana, which was shaped into a heart... so sweet.. sayang plak nak makan. Hehe.. Dan had the roadhouse burger. Perrhhh.. sedap giler daging dia. Nyummmm!!! It was indeed a supmtuous meal. Price pun not bad... lain kali boleh la kita pergi, ye kawan2?? :D

The next day, Dan had to fly in the morning.. so sempat la keluar jap gi carik V-Day card for him.. and bought him a box of handmade choccies... tasted some kat kedai tu.. Perhh.. sedap seyy... harap2 Dan bukak choccies tu as soon as i gave it to him.. boley mkn sama2.. hehe, kononnyala, niat di hati.. So when he got back, i gave him the card and the choccies... tapi he didnt open the chocolates box coz he was on diet... Huhu.. keciwa tak dpt mkn handmade chocs. Daymmm!

We then had lunch at KBJ, after lunch we headed for the airport. Its time for him to go home. :( I waited til he went into the boarding room. Hmm... so sad. Wish that he didnt have to go back.

Happy valentine's day sayang... Eventhough we're far apart, you know that my heart is with you always.

Lots to say but lack of enthusiasm to say it. Heh.

Effie's wedding
Finally, the day had come... for me to meet up with all of Dan's cousins, and for my mom to meet Dan's parents. I was more nervous abt the latter, quite obviously since i've already gone through meeting up with his relatives in Taiping.. Naturally, meeting up with his other first cuzs that i haven't met wasn't as nerve wrecking as to see the outcome of the parental meeting. Gasp!!

However, things turned out allright. They seemed happy to have meet each other. Aunty siap ajak mom to meet up to discuss abt us pulak tu. Heheh... Sayangnya, they sat quite far apart, so it was quite difficult for them to chat. But i think the meeting went fine. Thank God for that.

As for the wedding... well.. it was allright. The usual ballroom wedding. Dan and i was to help with the registration as well as presenting the bunga telur to the VIPs who were invited for the menepung tawar. Chum n her sis, Adik were the bestman and the bride's maid. The mcs, Taufik latif n sarinah mentioned all of our names with a little note that all of us are getting married soon as well... Hmmphmm.. now that everyone in the hall knows, agak2nya, hafta invite everyone ke? Hehe.. not for me to worry.. it'll be his side's wedding... Let them worry about that.

That aside, the favors for the guests were unusually creative. Instead of the usual bunga telur/candies, guests were given small containers of strawberry jam instead. Freshly brought down from Cameron Highlands, where Effie's family lived. Very nice!

So there.. i've met all his other cuzs... and my mom had met his parents. Everything went well. Shall i breath a sigh of relieve now?? Hmm.. with the engagement and wedding on the way.. i think not. :(

Pre-wedding tension
I never knew that engagements and weddings could be such a torture. I'm so stressed out about the whole thing PLUS this unfinished masters doesnt help!!.. Pening aaahh... Hantaran, jemputan.. yadda..yadda... I thought weddings are supposed to be a joyful occasion, not something the getting-married should be stressed out with.. i guess the only few people who would embrace weddings with joy would be the vendors: caterers, beautician, wedding consultant... Grrrrr.... If only everything can be paid for by dried leaves. Hahahahaaaaa.
